Block Management Reviews
"I am very grateful to the estates team for addressing a problem that residents of the apartment block I live in have had with the front door. When there is a strong wind from the north east, the door blows open and is very difficult to close. I have raised concerns over this issue on a number of occasions with the previous management company to no avail. The estate manager is the first person to listen to my concerns and take appropriate action."

"The Management team here in Prospect Place, the estates team are stars! Always engaging, friendly, and helpful (how they manage to remember any of us is a mystery, they're so busy with so many of us, but the always do!). I want to commend them particularly for their care over the repair and painting of my apartment following a flood - wonderful in the first instance, and their follow up (to fix a minor glitch) was brilliant: it was sorted so quickly and well THANK YOU!"

"We have had a problem with noise from the flat above us in Lady Isle House Ferry Court Cardiff. We contacted a Mr Paul Staniforth who immediately became involved and addressed the situation. We really do appreciate what he has done for us and cannot thank him enough. Once again a big thank you to Mr Staniforth. The noise above was intolerable."

Our aim is to make Management Company Directors feel empowered: to us this means 100% transparency and advising them of the options available to support decision making. We know volunteer directors have a day job, so work to delivery what they need in a timely manner and guide them on the decisions we need.

West Ealing - Places to stay
West Ealing is situated 7 miles to the west of central London. In 1234, there was a hamlet called West Ealing. However, in 1456 it was renamed Ealing Dean. This latter name is probably derived from "valley" or "denu".
Up until the 1870s, the area was largely open countryside, with only a few houses. In 1871, the opening of the railway station, then named Castle Hill & Ealing Dean, attributed to building growth in the area. In 1899, it was renamed West Ealing station.
As well as trains, horse drawn omnibuses enabled commuters' easier travel in to London. In the reign of Queen Victoria (r.1837-1901), West Ealing's countryside was rapidly disappearing, because roads had to be built, drainage provided, schools and public buildings developed. However, parts of it were preserved as public parks: for example, Lammas Park and Walpole Park.
Since World War II, there was rebuilding in West Ealing: many Victorian houses were converted into flats. Since 2004, a large amount of residential tower blocks were built in West Ealing.

The house can be hired out for events; there are also workshops, and the Gallery, with exhibitions for art lovers. From 1800 to 1804, Sir John Soane, a distinguished architect, designed and built the house, which he then lived in. Drayton Court Hotel, 2 The Avenue, West Ealing, London, W13, has 27 rooms, double and single. It is also proud to be one of the oldest pubs in Ealing, west London, and it has a large beer garden. The menu includes sandwiches on weekdays, Sunday roasts with all the trimmings, and a decadent Afternoon Tea. As a Fuller's Pub, it would be nothing without a pint of London Pride. At the bar, there is a good selection of quality wines, spirits, and soft drinks, as well as their very own Fuller's Brewer Street Coffee.
