Each route promises breath-taking views and greenery. Whether you are a fitness enthusiast or just a casual jogger, Wembley Park has a range of different running routes.
Tufnell Park to Wembley
The 11.3 miles Harrow-on-the-Hill is the longest of the five top routes in Wembley from Tufnell Park to Wembley Park. This is a moderately challenging route via the canal in Camden Town ending at Wembley Stadium.
Harrow-on-the-Hill
Harrow-on-the-Hill is the perfect choice for those who wish to burn extra calories. The 7.75-mile long route will challenge you. As you go up the hill, a magical reward will be yours. Enjoy the scenic views of London and consider going through St Mary's Church to enjoy more of a climb.
Brent Reservoir
Those who prefer running off-road must try the 6.15 miles Brent Reservoir. Your route promises serene greenery and the company of the scenic reservoir. The quiet woodland trails of Brent Reservoir allow you to spot myriad water birds, such as common pochard, ducks, great crested grebes, and willow warbles. Brent Reservoir is a famous destination for cyclists and walkers.
Fryent Country Park Loop
Covering a vast area of over a hundred hectares, the Fryent Country Park is a popular escape from the city's hustle and bustle. It is a designated nature reserve covering a few hilly terrains that can rise to 86m. The 4.9-mile loop goes through the centre of Fryent Way and around the park. You can begin the walk from the park's eastern end and follow the footpath to reach Barn Hill to enjoy panoramic views of Wembley Stadium.
Wembley Stadium and Brent River Park
The 4-mile loop is open any time of the year and is straightforward. Regardless of the season or time, the Wembley Stadium and Brent River Park circular is a quiet and easy route.
Tokyngton Loop
The Tokyngton Loop is a good choice if you are looking for a flat route. It leads you out of Wembley Park toward the southwest and over the railway lines. Refresh yourself, running alongside River Brent as you head to your home.
King Edward VII Park
Perfect for casual joggers, the 2.7-mile-long route will encompass King Edward VII Park, offering plenty of fresh air and enchanting views of beautiful flower gardens. King Edward VII Park route lets you enjoy the views of football pitches and bowling green.
