Block Management Bromley-by-bow

Bromley-by-bow's No 1 Managing agent

Block and Estate Management is about the minutia done well: the role of a Managing Agent is technical, administrative, practical and political. It takes joined up thinking to do what we do well as well as sufficient resource to react to whatever is necessary day-to-day.

As a Managing Agent we know our true business is building relationships with people. Our people are empowered and know that they can make a difference to how people feel about where they live. We call our 'Property Manager's 'Relationship Managers’ to embody our values which are to build relationships, add value, and to take the initiative. We lead the market in transparency and focusing on risk, cash, repairs and place making, usually in that order, and was the first Managing Agent to introduce a ' money back guarantee ’.

Being who we are would be impossible without our passionately committed people, whose qualifications we sponsor and who we support professionally to be the best they can be, as achieving a national training award and our Silver IIP status confirms.

Block Management Reviews

"Our housekeeper is responsible for cleaning my block of flats is friendly, professional and always willing to help. I have complained or questioned the cleanliness of communal areas of our flat. Thank you so much for your hard work and help Emmanuel"

"I moved into a Ringley managed property recently and there have been a few small issues, with low heating temperature as the main one. The lettings advisor from Ringley took this issue very seriously and has been so helpful in resolving it in a timely fashion. There was no need to chase her given that she followed up with emails to check for updates. In the end 3 engineers were involved but The lettings advisor made sure the heating was fixed. Given the recent cold weather and my small children this exceptional service was appreciated. Thanks again Georgia!!"

"We have had a problem with noise from the flat above us in Lady Isle House Ferry Court Cardiff. We contacted a Mr Paul Staniforth who immediately became involved and addressed the situation. We really do appreciate what he has done for us and cannot thank him enough. Once again a big thank you to Mr Staniforth. The noise above was intolerable."

History of Bromley-by-bow

Bromley-by-Bow, located in East London within the London Borough of Tower Hamlets, has a history stretching back over a thousand years. Originally known simply as "Bromley," the name is derived from the Old English "brom-leah," meaning a clearing where broom grows. The "by-Bow" suffix was added in the 14th century to distinguish it from other places named Bromley and refers to its proximity to the nearby Bow area. During medieval times, Bromley-by-Bow was a small rural village on the outskirts of London, centred around the Church of St. Mary, which dates back to the 12th century.

The Industrial Revolution brought dramatic changes to Bromley-by-Bow, transforming it into a densely populated urban area. Its location along the River Lea and close to major canals made it ideal for manufacturing and transport. The area became known for factories, gasworks, and working-class housing. In the 20th century, Bromley-by-Bow faced significant challenges, including wartime bombing and post-war decline. However, recent regeneration efforts have aimed to revitalise the area, with new housing, community projects, and transport links helping to reconnect it with wider London while preserving its rich historical character.
