1. Ringley Expands Despite Market Uncertainty
Richard Williams, CEO of The Ringley Group, says the company is continuing to grow despite ongoing uncertainty in the global economy.
Speaking to MIPIM News, he explained:
“It is challenging to make solid predictions when the world is so unpredictable. But we feel there is space in the market to expand. We are having positive conversations and have a deep pipeline of opportunities.”
2. Focus on Operational Efficiency
Ringley is seeing increased activity while placing greater emphasis on improving operational efficiency and boosting net operating income for clients.
Williams explained that much of the company’s work this year focuses on helping clients improve their net revenue.
“That is where we see The Ringley Group adding real value,” he said.
3. Importance of MIPIM for the Valuations Sector
Williams described MIPIM as a crucial event for the company’s valuations team.
Banks attend the conference in large numbers, creating valuable opportunities for discussions with clients and industry partners.
“This year it is a particularly interesting time,” Williams said. “There will be a lot of talk about what is happening in the valuation world, with the banks starting to look very strongly at their loans at the beginning of the year.”
4. Growth in the Living Sector
The living sector remains a major focus for Ringley, as it forms the foundation of the company’s business.
Williams noted that the firm has adapted to the strong growth in this sector.
“Identifying green shoots, we have adapted to the surge in the living sector, which now represents 28% of the market, by leveraging our 30 year heritage to service high volume portfolio requests without compromising quality.”
5. Expanding the Commercial Property Business
Alongside residential growth, Ringley is also focusing on expanding its commercial real estate services.
Williams highlighted the importance of the UK’s key office cities and pointed to the return to office trend as an indicator of urban economic health.
He said the company plans to grow its commercial operations by leveraging its existing platform and increasing commercial instructions from investors and developers seeking expertise across multiple asset classes.
6. Networking and Opportunities at MIPIM
Williams emphasised that attending MIPIM remains strategically important.
He shared advice from a client that has stayed with him over the years:
“A tip from a client many years ago that always resonates. If I am not speaking with you at MIPIM, I am speaking with your opposition.”
With many of Ringley’s clients attending, the event provides an ideal opportunity to connect, reconnect, and follow up on business discussions.
