Block Management South Ruislip

South Ruislip's No 1 Managing agent

Block and Estate Management is about the minutia done well: the role of a Managing Agent is technical, administrative, practical and political. It takes joined up thinking to do what we do well as well as sufficient resource to react to whatever is necessary day-to-day.

As a Managing Agent we know our true business is building relationships with people. Our people are empowered and know that they can make a difference to how people feel about where they live. We call our 'Property Manager's 'Relationship Managers’ to embody our values which are to build relationships, add value, and to take the initiative. We lead the market in transparency and focusing on risk, cash, repairs and place making, usually in that order, and was the first Managing Agent to introduce a ' money back guarantee ’.

Being who we are would be impossible without our passionately committed people, whose qualifications we sponsor and who we support professionally to be the best they can be, as achieving a national training award and our Silver IIP status confirms.

Block Management Overview

Block and Estate Management is about the minutia done well: the role of a Managing Agent is technical, administrative, practical and political. It takes joined up thinking from a multi-disciplined team with one eye on the strategic long term plan and with sufficient resource to react to whatever is necessary day-to-day: the skills that block and estate management spans are: politics, building pathology, finance, legal knowhow and of course customer service too.

As a leading Managing Agent, we are a one-stop-property shop. Block Management Reviews

"The Ringley Group helped us achieve right to manage on a large and complex residential estate in south west London. Guiding us through the legal process, the acquisition and site set up. Following a tricky relationship with the freeholder's managing agent which lead us to go through the RTM process and appoint Ringley, they has been a breath of fresh air. The staff are clearly very passionate about what they do, extremely knowledgeable and the changes we have been able to put in place at the site in the couple of months since RTM took place, in collaboration with the RTM directors, have quickly improved the quality of the service, the look of the site, with savings already made in-year. We look forward to working with the team as we make further improvements and savings here at Wimbledon Stadia - expanding our on-site staff to create a real strong team spirit, as we collaborate with local businesses, suppliers and charities. The RTM process means leaseholders are in control, and can work with Ringley to build a decedent budget, with full transparency."

"We have had a problem with noise from the flat above us in Lady Isle House Ferry Court Cardiff. We contacted a Mr Paul Staniforth who immediately became involved and addressed the situation. We really do appreciate what he has done for us and cannot thank him enough. Once again a big thank you to Mr Staniforth. The noise above was intolerable."

History of South Ruislip

The area known today as South Ruislip lies within the London Borough of Hillingdon and was formerly part of the broader Ruislip parish. According to available records, the locality began as a semi‑rural domain, benefitting from the gradual expansion of London’s suburbs in the early 20th century. A key milestone was the opening of the station now known as South Ruislip station: originally opened on 1 May 1908 under the name Northolt Junction, it was renamed South Ruislip & Northolt Junction in 1932 and finally took the current name on 30 June 1947. Furthermore, the proximity of the former RAF Northolt airfield and its wartime and Cold War roles contributed to the area’s strategic importance. Over time, South Ruislip evolved from a fringe suburban zone into a more established commuter‑area, with mixed housing stock and growing amenities.

Cultural Scene in South Ruislip

The cultural offering in South Ruislip is understated but community‑driven:

A notable landmark is the Polish Air Force Memorial, located near the southern extremity of South Ruislip, commemorating the Polish airmen who served in the RAF during WWII.

Local high‑streets and shopping zones provide social hubs for the area: cafés, independent and chain eateries, and weekend market stalls create a village‑within‑London feel.

While perhaps lacking the high‑culture venues of inner‑London, the area supports grassroots community culture: sports clubs, family‑oriented activities, local events and the use of green space.

The strong sense of local identity as one resident put it:

“It’s a very nice area. I live in South Ruislip … Lots of amenities in South Ruislip especially and cinema.”
