Block and Estate Management is about the minutia done well: the role of a Managing Agent is technical, administrative, practical and political. It takes joined up thinking to do what we do well as well as sufficient resource to react to whatever is necessary day-to-day.
As a Managing Agent we know our true business is building relationships with people. Our people are empowered and know that they can make a difference to how people feel about where they live. We call our 'Property Manager's 'Relationship Managers’ to embody our values which are to build relationships, add value, and to take the initiative. We lead the market in transparency and focusing on risk, cash, repairs and place making, usually in that order, and was the first Managing Agent to introduce a ' money back guarantee ’.
Being who we are would be impossible without our passionately committed people, whose qualifications we sponsor and who we support professionally to be the best they can be, as achieving a national training award and our Silver IIP status confirms.

Block Management Reviews

"I have recently moved into a lovely one bed apartment in Great Ormes House. Moving as a single individual is quite challenging at the best of times however whilst I was struggling to move boxes from my car to the lift, a lovely member of the team that was carrying out some electrical testing at the time, immediately asked me if I would like to use the sites trolley to assist me with the heavy boxes!!! Super helpful and such a lovely welcome to your site!!! He’s an asset! "

"We have had a problem with noise from the flat above us in Lady Isle House Ferry Court Cardiff. We contacted a Mr Paul Staniforth who immediately became involved and addressed the situation. We really do appreciate what he has done for us and cannot thank him enough. Once again a big thank you to Mr Staniforth. The noise above was intolerable."

Things to do in Southall
The area now known as Southall began as a small rural settlement in Middlesex, with just a few hundred residents engaged in farming wheat, barley and grazing livestock in the early 19th century. The arrival of major infrastructure marked a turning point: the construction of the Grand Junction Canal in the 1790s provided a link from London towards the Midlands via Bull’s Bridge in Southall. By 1838 the Great Western Railway had opened its line and established a halt at Southall (in 1839) which accelerated industrial development and population growth.
In the late 19th and early 20th centuries, Southall transformed further — from farmland to a growing town: industries such as brickworks, margarine (notably the Otto Monsted factory opened in 1895) and chemical works established roots. The civic identity also evolved: the construction of the Southall Town Hall in 1897 signalled municipal ambition. Post‑World War II and into the late 20th century, Southall became a focal point of south Asian migration and community formation, transforming its cultural and demographic fabric.

Southall is rich in character and offers a wide array of everyday and leisure activities:
Shopping & food culture: The main commercial artery along the Broadway (U x bridge Road) features traditional South Asian jewelers, fabric and clothing stores, street‑food stalls and markets.
Markets & street life: The local market opens multiple days a week (e.g., Wednesday, Friday, Saturday) with a blend of food, clothing and electronics stalls giving the area a vibrant daytime feel.
Green spaces & leisure: Parks like Southall Park provide play areas, tennis courts and informal recreation.
Food exploration: Whether indulging in Punjabi thalis, Indian sweets or exploring vegetarian options, Southall is considered one of London’s go‑to suburbs for authentic south Asian cuisine.
Transport convenience: For day‑to‑day living the connectivity is strong which also supports exploring further: the local station and bus network make commuting easy.

Southall’s cultural scene is distinctive, dynamic and rooted in community:
One of the area’s most prominent landmarks is the Gurdwara Sri Guru Singh Sabha Southall opened in 2003 one of the largest Sikh temples outside India, symbolising the strength of the local Sikh community.
The neighbourhood is frequently referred to as “Little India” due to its dense concentration of South Asian businesses, street life, festivals and everyday commerce.
Festivals such as Diwali turn the streets into vibrant events of lights, colour, music and communal celebration enhancing the cultural profile of the location.
Grass‑roots culture is also strong: walking history tours trace the area’s role in anti‑racist movements, youth activism and social justice reflecting a layered heritage beyond commerce.
