Block and Estate Management is about the minutia done well: the role of a Managing Agent is technical, administrative, practical and political. It takes joined up thinking to do what we do well as well as sufficient resource to react to whatever is necessary day-to-day.
As a Managing Agent we know our true business is building relationships with people. Our people are empowered and know that they can make a difference to how people feel about where they live. We call our 'Property Manager's 'Relationship Managers’ to embody our values which are to build relationships, add value, and to take the initiative. We lead the market in transparency and focusing on risk, cash, repairs and place making, usually in that order, and was the first Managing Agent to introduce a ' money back guarantee ’.
Being who we are would be impossible without our passionately committed people, whose qualifications we sponsor and who we support professionally to be the best they can be, as achieving a national training award and our Silver IIP status confirms.
Transition: Our problem not yours
Our onboarding team will visit site to catalogue what we need to manage, set up budget templates, benchmark and database key lease clauses, and for complex sites our Facilities Management team will also inspect to understand in detail plant and equipment on site. We see success as the emotional connection of each resident to where they live, so the task is simple... to empower site teams to make a difference on resident at a time.
We hire and place a range of site staff including: Concierge, Caretakers, Housekeeping, Cleaners, Gardeners, Maintenance Engineers and more…

Block Management Reviews

"I have been a resident at Warren house for the past 25 years and we have never ever really had a proper Building manager in all these years. The new estate manager is really professional, always in hand and easily reachable. He personally sorted out some important issues I had with parking ticket as well as some personal ones in no time and with sincere desire to help. Well done Mr.Johnson, you are indeed the manager we needed for so long ! Thank you for all your help and support !"

"The concierge working at the front desk at Prospect Place, was very helpful. I needed to print something this morning, and all the service points around were closed. Thanks, very helpful guy."

"We have had a problem with noise from the flat above us in Lady Isle House Ferry Court Cardiff. We contacted a Mr Paul Staniforth who immediately became involved and addressed the situation. We really do appreciate what he has done for us and cannot thank him enough. Once again a big thank you to Mr Staniforth. The noise above was intolerable."

Our aim is to make Management Company Directors feel empowered: to us this means 100% transparency and advising them of the options available to support decision making. We know volunteer directors have a day job, so work to delivery what they need in a timely manner and guide them on the decisions we need.

Cultural Scene in Redhill
The town of Redhill developed from rural parishes in Surrey when a turnpike road through the North Downs was built in 1818, and the settlement originally known as “Warwick Town” later took the name Redhill when the post‑office relocated in 1856. The arrival of the railway was a major driver of change: a station opened in 1841 on the London‑Brighton line via the Merstham tunnel, and a second station on the South Eastern line followed in 1842. This new connectivity transformed Redhill from a rural gap settlement into a commuter town and town‑centre with growing housing, commerce and services.
Through the 20th and into the 21st century Redhill has continued to evolve, absorbing suburban growth and regeneration. For example, the construction of the M23 motorway (1972‑75) reduced through traffic and helped reshape local transport patterns. In more recent decades the town centre has seen redevelopment, including retail investment (such as the opening of The Belfry Shopping Centre in 1991) and residential expansion, reflecting its role as a commuter and suburban hub.

Redhill may not have the high‑profile cultural institutions of major cities, but it offers a strong community‑centred cultural ecosystem. The town has its own local clubs, historic societies and sports teams (for example Redhill F.C., founded in 1894) and participates in the wider Surrey cultural network. The presence of historic transport heritage, local festivals and regeneration efforts provides a backdrop of evolving local culture. Moreover, being on the fringe of London yet surrounded by Surrey countryside gives it a dual character: accessible urban culture + green‑space leisure. For families and professionals alike, Redhill offers a balanced cultural and lifestyle environment.
