"We have had a problem with noise from the flat above us in Lady Isle House Ferry Court Cardiff. We contacted a Mr Paul Staniforth who immediately became involved and addressed the situation. We really do appreciate what he has done for us and cannot thank him enough. Once again a big thank you to Mr Staniforth. The noise above was intolerable."

Our aim is to make Management Company Directors feel empowered: to us this means 100% transparency and advising them of the options available to support decision making. We know volunteer directors have a day job, so work to delivery what they need in a timely manner and guide them on the decisions we need.

Rayners Lane is situated north-west of London, in the borough of Harrow. It is 16.2 miles from the centre of London. It takes its name from a road in the area, also called Rayners Lane. In the Middle Ages, the Rayners Lane road was used for transporting grain to the mill on Pinner Green. The road was originally called Bourne Lane, and it crossed several streams, including the Yeading Brook.
In the early Victorian era, the district was held by the Rayner family, who owned a farm. At this time, the area remained a village, surrounded by fields.
In 1906, during the reign of Edward VII, (r. 1901-1910), the first station opened on the Metropolitan Railway, and the trains were steam locomotives. The station was originally called Rayners Lane Halt, after a local farmer. It was nicknamed "pneumonia junction", because of its exposed location, being entirely surrounded by farmland. From 1910 to 1933, it was also served by the District Line. The station was rebuilt in 1938. The Underground station we know today, is on the Metropolitan and Piccadilly Lines. As its architecture is traditional to the period, it is a Grade II listed building, in the National Heritage List for England.
In the 1930s, there was rapid development of residential suburban buildings and amenities. The two companies Metropolitan County Estates and T.F. Nash and Co, initiated these building projects. T.F. Nash was Harrow's biggest interwar housebuilder. One notable example of his building, is a shopping parade on Alexandra Avenue. In 1935, the Grosvenor (later Odeon), Cinema was opened. It was designed by F.E. Bromige. It is considered one of London's finest suburban cinema buildings. Its art deco frontage is unusual: a striking representation of an elephant's trunk. The building is now a centre of worship for members of the Zoroastrian faith: one of the world's earliest, Iranian religions. It is the only official temple of its type in the UK.
Although Rayners Lane is a relatively small area, the presence of the Underground station has contributed significantly to many surrounding retail outlets. A wide variety of shops, restaurants and businesses employ many local residents.
