Block Management Ponders End

Ponders End's No 1 Managing agent

Block and Estate Management is about the minutia done well: the role of a Managing Agent is technical, administrative, practical and political. It takes joined up thinking to do what we do well as well as sufficient resource to react to whatever is necessary day-to-day.

As a Managing Agent we know our true business is building relationships with people. Our people are empowered and know that they can make a difference to how people feel about where they live. We call our 'Property Manager's 'Relationship Managers’ to embody our values which are to build relationships, add value, and to take the initiative. We lead the market in transparency and focusing on risk, cash, repairs and place making, usually in that order, and was the first Managing Agent to introduce a ' money back guarantee ’.

Being who we are would be impossible without our passionately committed people, whose qualifications we sponsor and who we support professionally to be the best they can be, as achieving a national training award and our Silver IIP status confirms.

Block Management Reviews

"Top service from all of the staff - special thanks to the maintenance team for being so much help and the concierge for their service every day"

"I moved into a Ringley managed property recently and there have been a few small issues, with low heating temperature as the main one. The lettings advisor from Ringley took this issue very seriously and has been so helpful in resolving it in a timely fashion. There was no need to chase her given that she followed up with emails to check for updates. In the end 3 engineers were involved but The lettings advisor made sure the heating was fixed. Given the recent cold weather and my small children this exceptional service was appreciated. Thanks again Georgia!!"

"We have had a problem with noise from the flat above us in Lady Isle House Ferry Court Cardiff. We contacted a Mr Paul Staniforth who immediately became involved and addressed the situation. We really do appreciate what he has done for us and cannot thank him enough. Once again a big thank you to Mr Staniforth. The noise above was intolerable."

History of Ponders End

Ponders End is an area located in the London Borough of Enfield, in the northeastern part of London. Historically, Ponders End was a rural area until the late 19th century, when rapid industrialisation and urbanisation began to reshape the area.In the early history of Ponders End, the land was primarily used for agriculture, with many farms scattered across the region. The name “Ponders End” itself is believed to have come from the Old English word "ponder," meaning a pond or water body, likely referring to nearby water features, and "end" suggesting the end of the village or settlement. The area was part of the ancient parish of Edmonton, which was an important historical region in Middlesex.

By the 20th century, Ponders End became more integrated into the expanding urban sprawl of Greater London. It continued to see residential and commercial development throughout the 20th century, alongside the growth of nearby industries. The area remained largely working-class and industrial, and as with much of the London Borough of Enfield, it became part of a post-war regeneration effort.Today, Ponders End is a diverse and vibrant area, with a mix of housing, retail, and industry. It has continued to undergo urban regeneration, particularly in recent years, with the development of new housing and improved transport links, and remains an important part of Enfield’s diverse community.
