Block and Estate Management is about the minutia done well: the role of a Managing Agent is technical, administrative, practical and political. It takes joined up thinking to do what we do well as well as sufficient resource to react to whatever is necessary day-to-day.
As a Managing Agent we know our true business is building relationships with people. Our people are empowered and know that they can make a difference to how people feel about where they live. We call our 'Property Manager's 'Relationship Managers’ to embody our values which are to build relationships, add value, and to take the initiative. We lead the market in transparency and focusing on risk, cash, repairs and place making, usually in that order, and was the first Managing Agent to introduce a ' money back guarantee ’.
Being who we are would be impossible without our passionately committed people, whose qualifications we sponsor and who we support professionally to be the best they can be, as achieving a national training award and our Silver IIP status confirms.

History of Kilburn
Most prestigious roads in Kilburn
The past of Kilburn dates back to early medieval history, and the area was established by an Old English term "Cylburne," meaning "the stream of a man called Cille." The rural area became an urban centre in the 19th century when the industrial revolution witnessed the rise of urbanization in London. By the 1800s, building the railway station and road and residential housing made the neighbourhood prosperous, a working-class urban neighbourhood. Kilburn was also equated with a vibrant Irish community during the 19th and early 20th centuries and, in subsequent decades, drew immigrants from around the world, including Caribbean, Jewish, and South Asian communities. The character of the area continued to develop throughout the 20th century through a combination of residential, multicultural business, and increasingly cosmopolitan atmosphere. Kilburn of today is representative of the old and the new, its rich history still palpable in its buildings and multicultural makeup.
Kilburn, on the north-west of London, has a lengthy past dating from the early middle ages. Kilburn was then a rural township, and it is believed its name derives from the Old English "cylle" (stream) and "burna" (brook), after Kilburn Brook running through it. In the 19th century, the arrival of the railway, with Kilburn station opening in 1837, accelerated the development of the area from farmland to a prosperous suburb. Expansion of the surrounding areas, with the construction of residential property and commercial premises, attracted a growing population. By the late 19th and early 20th centuries, Kilburn was a prosperous urban community, renowned for its multicultural society and working-class residents. The area saw continued development following World War II, with additional housing and cultural amenities. Kilburn is today a lively, multicultural neighborhood that preserves its heritage while benefiting from its proximity to central London and continued development as a successful urban center.
