Block and Estate Management is about the minutia done well: the role of a Managing Agent is technical, administrative, practical and political. It takes joined up thinking to do what we do well as well as sufficient resource to react to whatever is necessary day-to-day.
As a Managing Agent we know our true business is building relationships with people. Our people are empowered and know that they can make a difference to how people feel about where they live. We call our 'Property Manager's 'Relationship Managers’ to embody our values which are to build relationships, add value, and to take the initiative. We lead the market in transparency and focusing on risk, cash, repairs and place making, usually in that order, and was the first Managing Agent to introduce a ' money back guarantee ’.
Being who we are would be impossible without our passionately committed people, whose qualifications we sponsor and who we support professionally to be the best they can be, as achieving a national training award and our Silver IIP status confirms.

We empower teams out on site
Site staff are the eyes and ears of the developments we manage, they are fully connected to our customer relationship management systems. The work they do is visible to residents, e.g., day books and end of shift inspections on the Ringley Gateway portal.
We see success as the emotional connection of each resident to where they live, so the task is simple... to empower site teams to make a difference on resident at a time.
We hire and place a range of site staff including: Concierge, Caretakers, Housekeeping, Cleaners, Gardeners, Maintenance Engineers and more…

Block Management Reviews
"We have recently had 3 weeks when there was no uplifting of recycling or food-waste from properties at Goddard Place. I contacted Islington Recycling Services several times and finally they told me that they had lost access to the property (the other Islington disposal services managed very well during that period!). I told them to contact our Relationship Manager, but wasn't sure how long it would take them to contact her and get another fob. As soon as our Relationship Manager knew about the situation, she immediately took the initiative and hand-delivered a fob to them! Much appreciated action from her"

"Here to leave a review for the team who clean our block every day. They are such a lovely pair, they do a great job of keeping the building clean and are always friendly to chat to. Our dog loves getting his daily fuss too."

"We have had a problem with noise from the flat above us in Lady Isle House Ferry Court Cardiff. We contacted a Mr Paul Staniforth who immediately became involved and addressed the situation. We really do appreciate what he has done for us and cannot thank him enough. Once again a big thank you to Mr Staniforth. The noise above was intolerable."

Cultural Scenes in Hove
Hove, situated on the southern coast of England along the English Channel, has a history stretching back to the medieval period. Originally a small fishing village and agricultural settlement, Hove’s name is believed to derive from the Old English word hof, meaning a shelter or enclosure, reflecting its early rural character.
Throughout the Middle Ages, Hove remained largely a modest village overshadowed by nearby Brighton. However, the arrival of the railway in the mid-19th century sparked a transformation. Improved transport links opened Hove up to development and tourism, leading to the construction of elegant Victorian and Edwardian seafront terraces, grand hotels, and spacious residential streets.
By the late 19th and early 20th centuries, Hove had grown into a fashionable seaside town, attracting visitors with its wide pebble beach and promenades. The two towns of Hove and Brighton expanded until they effectively merged, yet Hove retained a distinct identity, known for its quieter, more residential atmosphere.
Today, Hove is a vibrant coastal community blending historic charm with modern amenities, celebrated for its cultural scene, parks, and seafront lifestyle, while continuing to embrace its rich heritage along England’s south coast.
Hove offers a wonderful mix of seaside charm, green spaces, and cultural experiences, making it an ideal destination for visitors and residents alike. Whether you’re after relaxing beach days, exploring history, or enjoying vibrant local events, Hove has plenty to offer:
Hove Beach and Seafront: Enjoy long walks along the pebble beach and promenade, perfect for picnics, cycling, or simply soaking up the fresh sea air.
Hove Park: A large and well-maintained park with playgrounds, sports facilities, and lovely open lawns ideal for family days out and outdoor fitness.
Stanmer Park: Just a short distance away, this historic parkland offers beautiful woodland walks, a picturesque village, and a historic manor house café.
Hove Museum & Art Gallery: Discover a variety of exhibits, including local history, fine art, and interactive displays for children.
The Dome: An iconic Grade II-listed building that hosts concerts, events, and weddings, and is a key cultural landmark in Hove.
Shopping on Church Road: Explore a diverse range of independent shops, boutiques, cafés, and restaurants along Church Road, Hove’s bustling high street.
The Old Market: A vibrant arts and community venue offering theatre productions, live music, comedy nights, and workshops.
Dining Out in Hove: From seaside fish and chips to international cuisine and cozy cafés, Hove’s dining scene caters to every taste and occasion.
Annual Events: Take part in local events such as the Hove Festival, Farmers’ Markets, and seasonal fairs that bring the community together throughout the year.
Cycling and Walking Routes: Hove’s flat terrain and coastal paths make it perfect for outdoor activities like cycling, jogging, and leisurely strolls.
Hove, with its elegant Victorian architecture and vibrant coastal community, enjoys a rich cultural scene that reflects both its historic roots and contemporary creativity. The town’s artistic heritage is visible in its many galleries, theatres, and community spaces that nurture local talent and welcome visitors from near and far.
At the heart of Hove’s cultural life is The Old Market, a dynamic arts venue hosting theatre performances, live music, comedy nights, and workshops. This hub, alongside the historic Dome, provides a stage for a wide range of artistic expression, from classical concerts to cutting-edge contemporary shows.
Community engagement thrives in local centres such as the Hove Library and numerous creative clubs and societies, offering programs that encourage participation in arts, crafts, and cultural learning across all ages.
Hove’s festivals and seasonal events, including art fairs, food markets, and music festivals, celebrate the town’s diversity and foster a strong sense of community. Places of worship and cultural groups across Hove further enrich the town’s multicultural fabric.
Together, these elements create a cultural landscape in Hove that is both rooted in tradition and open to new influences, making it a welcoming place for residents and visitors to share in the town’s vibrant spirit.
