If you’re lucky, you might get a response to an email or call within days—more often, it’s weeks. History of Hampton Wick

Hampton Wick, located just across the River Thames from Kingston upon Thames, is one of the oldest settlements in the London Borough of Richmond upon Thames. Its history dates back to at least the 14th century, when it was a small hamlet closely tied to the royal activities of nearby Hampton Court Palace. The word “Wick” is derived from the Old English “wic,” meaning a dairy farm or settlement.
