What is a freehold title in UK law?
Freehold is absolute ownership of the property, including the land it stands on. Whereas leasehold is the right to a demised property for a term of years. In a freehold leasehold scenario, unless there is a management company or right-to-manage the company in existence ordinarily the Freeholder collects the ground rent, places the insurance, and is responsible for property maintenance.
