New to Ringley
Residential consultancy Ringley has hired Ian Barber as managing director of its build-to-rent division. Barber will lead Life by Ringley as it expands its BTR offering and will support development and operations in the North of England and the Midlands.
He previously worked at Landmark Development Solutions in Bolton and, prior to that, managed the Manchester office of estate agency Hunters. He will be based in Manchester. Life by Ringley has advised BTR investors and operators such as Curlew, Patrizia and Moda Living, and is currently instructed on BTR developments in Manchester, Stockport and Coventry. Mary-Anne Bowring, group managing director at Ringley, said: “While house prices have grabbed all the lines, Britain’s build-to-rent sector has gone from strength to strength, with an increasing number of operational schemes and more investors looking to deploy capital.”
