Block Management Overview

Management is about the minutia done well. It takes a team across a range of disciplines to deal with the multiple facets of block and estate management: politics, building pathology, finance, legal knowhow and of course customer service too.

At Ringley we believe in joined up thinking and commit to signpost Clients on all things property - even if outside our day-to-day management remit

Our true business is building relationships with our people. Our people really know that they can make a difference to our residents. We match our people to what each site needs to be achieved, with you in mind. We lead the market in transparency and focusing on risk, cash, repairs and place making, usually in that order.

We are not shy of hard work and believe our ability to get stuck in and find solutions that sets us apart. We are innovative to the core and committed to implementing good ideas in pursuit of 5* service.

Being who we are would be impossible without our passionately committed people, whose qualifications we sponsor and who we support professionally to be the best they can be, as achieving a national training award and our Silver IIP status confirms.

History of Seven Kings

Seven Kings is in the borough of Redbridge, east London, and is situated 13.7 miles from the centre of London. During the reign of Edward I, (1272-1307), the Saxon name Seofecingas was recorded, in the late 1280s. This name translates as "the settlement of Seofeca's people".
Seven Kings has never formed a parish or other division. However, in 1894 the Ilford Urban District was formed, (later the municipal borough). Seven Kings is situated next to the ancient Roman Road, between London and Colchester. This was rapidly developed during the 19th century, during the reign of Queen Victoria, (r. 1837-1901). Seven Kings railway station was opened in 1899, by the Great Eastern Railway. At this time, the area's population stood at around 10,000.
In 1965, the Ilford parish and municipal borough were abolished by the London Government Act 1963, and the area of Essex including Seven Kings, has since formed part of Greater London.

What our CEO, Mary Anne Bowring, likes about Seven Kings

I went to Seven Kings Park, and enjoyed a good game of tennis with my friend. I was pleased it was free to play there. Then we had a good walk around the park.
