Block Management Maida Vale

Maida Vale 's No 1 Managing agent

Block and Estate Management is about the minutia done well: the role of a Managing Agent is technical, administrative, practical and political. It takes joined up thinking to do what we do well as well as sufficient resource to react to whatever is necessary day-to-day.

As a Managing Agent we know our true business is building relationships with people. Our people are empowered and know that they can make a difference to how people feel about where they live. We call our 'Property Manager's 'Relationship Managers’ to embody our values which are to build relationships, add value, and to take the initiative. We lead the market in transparency and focusing on risk, cash, repairs and place making, usually in that order, and was the first Managing Agent to introduce a ' money back guarantee ’.

Being who we are would be impossible without our passionately committed people, whose qualifications we sponsor and who we support professionally to be the best they can be, as achieving a national training award and our Silver IIP status confirms.

Block Management Reviews

"Ringley Group were always very quick at repairs if needed around the Apartments ,and supplied all out of hours numbers for emergencies . They were speedy with any enquiries and always communicated very well. I also have had the most pleasure of receiving ,help and advice from our Relationship Manager for a number of years regarding my apartment . He has always been available on the phone every time I’ve needed assistance . He has always been polite and very helpful and always made sure I understood everything no matter how long the phone call was knowing he’s a very busy man. My Relationship Manager was my go to person at Ringley and I am saddened that Ringley Group will cease Managing our Apartments . I hope The next management company are on par with what I have experienced ,they will have very big boots to fill to even come close to the most kind and understanding manager and Company I have ever dealt with ."

"We have had a problem with noise from the flat above us in Lady Isle House Ferry Court Cardiff. We contacted a Mr Paul Staniforth who immediately became involved and addressed the situation. We really do appreciate what he has done for us and cannot thank him enough. Once again a big thank you to Mr Staniforth. The noise above was intolerable."

History of Maida Vale

Before 1800, the area now known as Maida Vale was 200 acres of open land, bordered by Edgware Road to the east, Regents Canal to the south, Formosa Street and Shirland Road to the west, and Kilburn Park Road to the north. The district is part of the City of Westminster, an affluent residential area. The name "Maida Vale" originates from a pub called The Hero of Maida, which commemorated Major-General Sir John Stuart, the Count of Maida. This pub's sign featured an image of Stuart, who gained the title after leading British forces to victory in the Battle of Maida in 1806.

In February 1806, British troops were sent to defend Naples from French occupation, and Sir John Stuart was appointed to command. After a successful campaign in southern Italy, Stuart's forces won a significant victory on July 4th, 1806, on the plains of Maida in Calabria. This led to his knighthood and appointment as Count of Maida by King Ferdinand IV of Naples. The pub was named in his honor in 1810, and it stood on Edgware Road near the Regent's Canal. It remained operational until 2000, marking a long connection to the history of the area.
