"We have had a problem with noise from the flat above us in Lady Isle House Ferry Court Cardiff. We contacted a Mr Paul Staniforth who immediately became involved and addressed the situation. We really do appreciate what he has done for us and cannot thank him enough. Once again a big thank you to Mr Staniforth. The noise above was intolerable."

Our aim is to make Management Company Directors feel empowered: to us this means 100% transparency and advising them of the options available to support decision making. We know volunteer directors have a day job, so work to delivery what they need in a timely manner and guide them on the decisions we need.

Maida Vale - Cultural Scene
Before 1800, the area of land now known as Maida Vale, was about 200 acres (85 hectares), of completely open land. Its boundaries are the section of Edgware Road, now known as Maida Vale, to the east, the Regents Canal to the south, Formosa Street and Shirland Road to the west, and Kilburn Park Road to the north.
Maida Vale, London, is part of the City of Westminster, an affluent residential district. It's name originates from a pub called The Hero of Maida, and its hanging board used to show a likeness of Major-General Sir John Stuart, who was the Count of Maida, a town in Calabria, southern Italy. In February 1806, 5,000 British troops were sent under the command of Sir James Craig, to defend the Kingdom of Naples, Italy, and its neighbouring southern area, Calabria, against occupying French troops. During the conflict, Craig suffered ill health, and his command was replaced by Major-General John Stuart. He intended to exploit the weakness of the French troops in Calabria, across the Straits of Messina separating Sicily from southern Italy, by launching an attack on the Calabrian coast. He marched on to attack the French on the plains of Maida, and he gained an important victory, on 4th July, 1806. This honour resulted in Sir John Stuart's appointment as Count of Maida, by King Ferdinand IV of Naples and III of Sicily; and he was granted knighthood from the British government. So the pub The Hero of Maida was credited with its name, in 1810. The pub was situated on the original Edgware Road, near the Regent's Canal, and the pub continued trading until 2000.
Asquith House: With a sweeping vantage point over the peaceful landscaped gardens, Asquith House is connected to a place of classical tranquillity and beauty. Soaring 18 storeys, this elegant collection of apartments will benefit from far-reaching views towards the City, Regent's Park and Hyde Park.
West End Gate: The gateway to London's West End, West End Gate is a modern take on classic London, bringing brand new homes to one of London's most prestigious postcodes. It is a collection of 542 apartments in five buildings; including Manhattans (studios), one, two and three bedroom apartments and penthouses.
Located on the ground floor and basement of the Westmark Tower, a state-of-the-art resident wellness suite features an expansive swimming pool, sauna, steam room, treatment rooms and stylishly designed gym . There is also a residents' lounge, a private cinema and a private dining room.
Nestled between two of London's most famous parks - Hyde Park to the south and Regent's Park to the northeast - West End Gate is perfectly placed to enjoy the best of London. World-class cuisine and heritage gems can be found in enviable proximity to Little Venice, Mayfair, Soho and Marylebone. Located in Zone 1, convenient high frequency travel from Edgware Road station and only a minute's walk from the West End gate. Four underground lines provide quick access to London.
The Little Venice area close to Maida Vale, is located around the junction of the Paddington side of the Grand Union Canal, the Regent's Canal, and the entrance to Paddington Basin. It has beautiful waterside views, decorative canal boats, and a good range of waterside restaurants and cafes. Some canal boats offer trips along the waterways that extend to ZSL London Zoo, Camden and beyond.
The Eagle, 15 Clifton Road, Maida Vale, London, W9, is a good, friendly pub that specialises in British food, including fish & chips, and a good selection of drinks. In colder weather, a roaring fire ensures the comfort of the guests. In warmer weather, customers can enjoy the pub's outdoor seating.
Canal Café Theatre, above the Bridge House pub, on the banks of Regent's Canal, is a pleasant, cosy 60 seat theatre, that shows drama and comedy. It puts on new plays, cabaret, and stand-up nights.
