Block Management Iver

Iver 's No 1 Managing agent

Block and Estate Management is about the minutia done well: the role of a Managing Agent is technical, administrative, practical and political. It takes joined up thinking to do what we do well as well as sufficient resource to react to whatever is necessary day-to-day.

As a Managing Agent we know our true business is building relationships with people. Our people are empowered and know that they can make a difference to how people feel about where they live. We call our 'Property Manager's 'Relationship Managers’ to embody our values which are to build relationships, add value, and to take the initiative. We lead the market in transparency and focusing on risk, cash, repairs and place making, usually in that order, and was the first Managing Agent to introduce a ' money back guarantee ’.

Being who we are would be impossible without our passionately committed people, whose qualifications we sponsor and who we support professionally to be the best they can be, as achieving a national training award and our Silver IIP status confirms.

"We have had a problem with noise from the flat above us in Lady Isle House Ferry Court Cardiff. We contacted a Mr Paul Staniforth who immediately became involved and addressed the situation. We really do appreciate what he has done for us and cannot thank him enough. Once again a big thank you to Mr Staniforth. The noise above was intolerable."

History of Iver

Iver, a historic parish in Buckinghamshire, England, has roots that trace back to ancient times. The area was recorded in the Domesday Book of 1086 as "Evreham," meaning "homestead by the brow of a hill." During this period, it was under the possession of Robert Doiley. Archaeological findings, such as Neolithic pottery fragments, suggest that the area was inhabited long before the Norman Conquest. The village church, with elements dating back to the Saxon era, stands as a testament to Iver's long-standing history. Over the centuries, Iver evolved from a rural settlement into a thriving community, with its weekly market receiving a Royal Charter in 1351, later reaffirmed in 1461.

The 18th and 19th centuries brought significant changes to Iver, particularly with the advent of the Grand Junction Canal and the railway. These developments enhanced the area's connectivity, transforming it into a hub for trade and industry. The parish also became known for its brickworks and gravel pits, which contributed to its economic growth. Iver Heath, a part of the parish, gained prominence with the establishment of Pinewood Studios, a world-renowned film and television production facility. This brought a touch of modernity and global recognition to the otherwise tranquil area.

Today, Iver is a blend of historical charm and modern amenities. Its picturesque landscapes, including parts of the Colne Valley Regional Park, offer a serene escape for residents and visitors alike. The area's historical landmarks, such as the remnants of its coaching past and the historic manor houses, continue to attract history enthusiasts. Despite its growth and modernization, Iver has managed to retain its unique character, making it a fascinating place to explore.
