Block Management Hounslow

Hounslow's No 1 Managing agent

Block and Estate Management is about the minutia done well: the role of a Managing Agent is technical, administrative, practical and political. It takes joined up thinking to do what we do well as well as sufficient resource to react to whatever is necessary day-to-day.

As a Managing Agent we know our true business is building relationships with people. Our people are empowered and know that they can make a difference to how people feel about where they live. We call our 'Property Manager's 'Relationship Managers’ to embody our values which are to build relationships, add value, and to take the initiative. We lead the market in transparency and focusing on risk, cash, repairs and place making, usually in that order, and was the first Managing Agent to introduce a ' money back guarantee ’.

Being who we are would be impossible without our passionately committed people, whose qualifications we sponsor and who we support professionally to be the best they can be, as achieving a national training award and our Silver IIP status confirms.

Block Management Overview

Block and Estate Management is about the minutia done well: the role of a Managing Agent is technical, administrative, practical and political. It takes joined up thinking from a multi-disciplined team with one eye on the strategic long term plan and with sufficient resource to react to whatever is necessary day-to-day: the skills that block and estate management spans are: politics, building pathology, finance, legal knowhow and of course customer service too.

As a leading Managing Agent, we are a one-stop-property shop. We understand that our role is sometimes signposting Clients to get expert advice and supporting them to interpret such advice and make decisions. We support and help owners reach out to government and other local services where matters are beyond our day-to-day block management remit.

As a Managing Agent we know our true business is building relationships with people. Our people are empowered and know that they can make a difference to how people feel about where they live. Block Management Reviews

"The lettings advisor was absolutely fab and utterly accommodating at helping us make our move go as seamless as possible! Could not recommend more "

"We moved in towards the beginning of January 24, and Antonia was our main point of contact. She was brilliant through out our move and very prompt with her responses. The entire team in fact are great, all the building management members make sure it’s a community, it’s been a great experience even with our renewal coming up. Great apartments, ideal location too. There’s a lot of peace and quiet but a stone throw away from the busy streets. AC is a really comfortable option."

"We have had a problem with noise from the flat above us in Lady Isle House Ferry Court Cardiff. We contacted a Mr Paul Staniforth who immediately became involved and addressed the situation. We really do appreciate what he has done for us and cannot thank him enough. Once again a big thank you to Mr Staniforth. The noise above was intolerable."

History of Hounslow

Hounslow, a historic district in West London, has a rich and fascinating history that dates back to the Anglo-Saxon era. The name "Hounslow" is derived from the Old English "Hundes hlāw," meaning "the hound's barrow" or "the burial mound of a man named Hound." The area was initially a small settlement, but its strategic location along the Bath Road, a major coaching route between London and the West Country, played a significant role in its development. In the 13th century, the establishment of the Holy Trinity Priory transformed Hounslow into a bustling town. The priory attracted pilgrims and travelers, leading to the growth of markets and inns. Although the priory was dissolved in 1539 during the Reformation, Hounslow continued to thrive as a key staging post for travelers.

The 19th century marked a period of significant change for Hounslow. The construction of the Great Western Railway in the 1830s reduced the importance of the Bath Road, but it also brought new opportunities for development. The Hounslow Loop Line, completed in 1850, further connected the area to London and beyond, spurring residential and industrial growth. By the 20th century, Hounslow had evolved into a suburban district with a mix of residential, commercial, and industrial areas. The construction of the Great West Road in the 1920s attracted major businesses, earning the area the nickname "Golden Mile." Today, Hounslow is a vibrant and diverse community, blending its historical roots with modern urban life. Its rich history is reflected in landmarks like Hounslow Heath, a site of historical significance, and the remnants of its coaching past.
