Block Management Overview

Management is about the minutia done well. It takes a team across a range of disciplines to deal with the multiple facets of block and estate management: politics, building pathology, finance, legal knowhow and of course customer service too.

At Ringley we believe in joined up thinking and commit to signpost Clients on all things property - even if outside our day-to-day management remit

Our true business is building relationships with our people. Our people really know that they can make a difference to our residents. We match our people to what each site needs to be achieved, with you in mind. We lead the market in transparency and focusing on risk, cash, repairs and place making, usually in that order.

We are not shy of hard work and believe our ability to get stuck in and find solutions that sets us apart. We are innovative to the core and committed to implementing good ideas in pursuit of 5* service.

Being who we are would be impossible without our passionately committed people, whose qualifications we sponsor and who we support professionally to be the best they can be, as achieving a national training award and our Silver IIP status confirms.

History of Holland Park

The uniqueness of Holland Park is that it is not just the name of a "place" - it is also a "public park" and a "street" - all located in the Royal Borough of Kensington & Chelsea.

Geographically, it's a neighborhood that sits between posh and affluent Kensington to the south - and the more edgy and bohemian Notting Hill / Ladbroke Grove to the north - and it's an area that definitely has its own little buzz.

Architecturally, Holland Park is known for its huge and beautiful 4-story, 5/6/7 bedroom Victorian homes (more like townhouses to me) - and many different styles and designs of these types of homes are scattered around for the area.

Residentially it's a hotspot for celebrities - big names from the worlds of film, TV and art, as well as wealthy businessmen and many foreign embassies, all own homes there - so it's no surprise that Holland Park is now one of the most expensive residential areas in London or anywhere in the world with some large homes for sale for over £ 10 million !!!.

The present Holland Park area is named after "Holland House", a grand mansion built in 1605 and once owned by Lord Holland. Unfortunately it was bombed during the Blitzkrieg of WWII and only a few ruins of the ground floor remain.

Many original streets/streets remain and each is recognizable by the architectural style of its houses. Royal Crescent, for example, was established in 1839 and is clearly inspired by its well-known namesake in the city of Bath. Today the crescent is a listed monument.

Other well known roads/streets like Campden Hill Square, Holland Park Road/Mews/Gardens, Philmore Street, Aubery Crescent/Road/Street, Abbotsbury Road & Addison Road etc. – were once mini-domains within the main domain of Holland House.

Holland Park itself (as a park) is, in my opinion, a small oasis of calm in the middle of a busy urban area, occupying 54 acres of the former site of Cope Castle in the Holland House estate.

New developments in Holland Park

Space is a coveted commodity in all major cities. Holland Park Villas offer the ultimate space in the ultimate city. The apartments are large and bright, the balconies and terraces are generous in size, there is plenty of storage space and light streams in through the floor to ceiling windows which add to the spacious feel of the living areas. The grandeur of the double-height reception and lobby that welcomes residents into their homes, the openness of the surrounding parkland, and the wide range of amenities all contribute to the impressive sense of scale that pervades the project. There is room to live, breathe and relax at Holland Park Villas. Beautiful.
