"We have had a problem with noise from the flat above us in Lady Isle House Ferry Court Cardiff. We contacted a Mr Paul Staniforth who immediately became involved and addressed the situation. We really do appreciate what he has done for us and cannot thank him enough. Once again a big thank you to Mr Staniforth. The noise above was intolerable."

Our aim is to make Management Company Directors feel empowered: to us this means 100% transparency and advising them of the options available to support decision making. We know volunteer directors have a day job, so work to delivery what they need in a timely manner and guide them on the decisions we need.

Highgate - Cultural Scene
Highgate is situated in north London, in the borough of Haringey. It is 4.5 miles from central London. The Bishop of London owned a hunting estate; and in the hunting grounds, a high deer-proof hedge surrounded the estate. Thus "the gate in the hedge", was to become the name Highgate we know today. The Bishop established a tollgate here in the 1350s, during the reign of Edward III, (r. 1312-1377).
Later in the 14th century, Dick Whittington is thought to have sat upon a milestone on Highgate Hill, on his way back to his family home in Gloucestershire. He was inspired by the distant sound of Bow Bells, he turned again to find fame and fortune in London. A replica stone marks the claimed spot, and completed in 1964, by a statue of Whittington's cat.
From the end of the 18th century, Highgate was built with smart homes for City people. However, the area was largely rural until the 19th century.
In 1839, Highgate Cemetary opened, and to this day, maintains its memorials, mausolea and catacombs. Karl Marx (1818-1883), revolutionary, sociologist, historian and economist, is buried here.
Sir Sydney Waterlow, (1822-1906), was a British philanthropist and Liberal Party politician. He was Lord Mayor of London, from 1872 to 1873. He is remembered for donating Waterlow Park to the public, as a "garden for the gardenless".
In 1867, Highgate station opened, on the Edgware, Highgate and London Railway. Services ran on the 1873 branch line to Alexandra Palace until 1954. However, Highgate station had to be relocated, and was rebuilt in the 1880s. It was not an Underground station until 1907, during the reign of King Edward VII, (r.1901-1910). Highgate was originally the terminus of the Charing Cross, Euston and Hampstead Railway. In 1940, this branch of the Northern Line we know today, was extended to High Barnet.
