Block Management Herne Hill
As a specialist Block Management Company we are operating in Herne Hill .
History of Herne Hill
Herne Hill is located in south London, approximately four miles from Charing Cross, and close to Brixton, Camberwell, Dulwich, and Tulse Hill. Herne Hill is close to Brockwell Park. The district is set between the boroughs of Lambeth and Southwark.
The earliest documents refer to "Herne Hill" in two fire insurance policies, issued by the Sun Insurance Company in 1792. The original spelling was "Hearns" and "Herns" Hill.
The original Manor of Milkwell existed from at 1291, which is the area we know now as Herne Hill. It was a mixture of farms and woodland until the late 18th century, and divided between the ancient parishes of Camberwell and Lambeth. In 1783, Samuel Sanders, a timber merchant, bought the land now occupied by Denmark Hill and Herne Hill, from the Manor. He then granted leases for large plots of land to wealthy families. By the mid 19th century, the area had become prosperous and desirable for the merchant class.

What our CEO, Mary Anne Bowring, likes about Herne Hill
I booked myself a room at the hotel, and on arrival was greatly impressed with the comfort and surroundings. The staff were friendly, and we often dined outdoors, with some lovely food. I would strongly recommend the Half Moon. The Half Moon, 10 Half Moon Lane, Herne Hill, London, SE24, is a Grade II listed hotel and pub. The menu has a good range of starters and mains, with a strong focus on Mediterranean food and British food, including meat, fish and vegan options. The pub has an extensive wine list, and plenty of beers, and there is pleasant outdoor seating in the garden. Private events are held, including business meetings, weddings, and birthdays.
