Introducing Busy Living - our new co-working platform

The Rise of Co-Working Spaces

Co-working could be the next big trend in our towns and cities. If you’re unfamiliar with the term, co-working allows workers from different companies to share office space, benefiting from cost savings on equipment, utilities, and receptionist services.

Ringley’s Vision for the Future

At Ringley, we’re confident that co-working will shape the future of work. That’s why we’re launching Busy Living, a cloud-based operational management platform designed for commercial and residential buildings.

Smart Technology for 24/7 Operations

Busy Living is designed to support the growth of mixed-use spaces, enabling buildings to operate 24/7 without increasing staff costs. Key features include:

  • Cashless payments
  • Facial recognition technology
  • MoD biometric security

Testing Busy Living at Camden Gateway

We are currently testing Busy Living on one of our own buildings, Camden Gateway, which offers 10,000 sq. ft. of co-working space. The platform is also white-label ready, meaning building operators can brand it as their own and provide a customer-facing app alongside the digital back-end.

A New Era for Mixed-Use Developments

Mary-Anne Bowring, Group Managing Director of Ringley, explains:

“Our new platform aims to improve transparency, reduce costs, drive revenue, and above all, de-risk operations. The next generation of buildings will merge multiple uses under one roof, and our latest tech offering is designed to help commercialise live-work-play developments.”

New flood risk could devalue UK properties by more than 20 billion
UK homes may be overvalued by more than £20 billion due to flood risk, with potential asset losses looming. The end of the Flood Re scheme in 2039 is a growing concern, as it could make affordable flood insurance inaccessible for high-risk households. A BBC News report suggests that, depending on post-scheme insurability levels, total losses could surge to around £60 billion by 2050.
