Ringleys do the business for John

Ringleys do the business for John Flat purchaser John Marden enjoyed a good experience when he contacted Ringley Chartered Surveyors. I don't think any agent would have looked after me as well as Ringley Chartered Surveyors, said purchaser John Marden. The property was a leasehold ground floor flat with an absentee freeholder; in fact the council had taken charge of matters.

Apparently the property had been on the market for six months and five sales had fallen through with other agents. The sheer determination of Paul and Panicos at Ringley was second to none. They researched the management agreements and when my solicitor could not get things moving it was Ringley who got my lenders enquiries answered for me. Then, to my horror on the Sunday before I was due to exchange, squatters entered the property. No matter to Ringley that it was Sunday, their management department were promptly on the scene and got straight on with boarding up and changing the lock, explained John. Further disaster hit when on August 16 the property was repossessed.

Nothing was too much trouble for Ringley. They again got on the phone and negotiated with the lender for the instruction. Legals were again getting complex (due to the absentee freeholder) and it was only through Ringley spoon feeding the right information to the right party that the lender's in-house lawyer was eventually persuaded that time was of the essence and the deal was done. Paul Byford of Ringley Chartered Surveyors said: we probably didn't make anything on this sale but that is not always what is most important. No matter how small the price of the property, we still act in the same professional manner. It was rewarding when the vendor called to thank me, said Paul.

He said, He was most impressed with Ringley's professionalism. After all had the property gone through the usual recover route, not only would the costs have mounted against the vendor but certainly the matters would have been further delayed and the property probably sold at auction. Ringley, they simply do more, said John.
