What do I need to do to become an Part-Time Cleaner - candidate requirements

Key Responsibilities:

  • Carry out daily commercial cleaning to a high standard.

  • Perform deep cleaning when required.

  • Clean and polish glass, mirrors, stainless steel, lift doors, and lifts.

  • Vacuum, sweep, mop, and maintain all floor surfaces.

  • Clean kitchens, washrooms, offices, communal areas, stairwells, and entrances.

  • Dust and sanitise all high-touch points.

  • Empty bins and replace liners.

  • Restock washroom consumables.

  • Ensure all work areas are clean, safe, and presentable.

  • Follow cleaning specifications, schedules, and site rotas.

  • Use the correct cleaning chemicals and equipment in line with COSHH regulations.

  • Report maintenance issues, damages, or health and safety concerns promptly.

  • Complete all allocated tasks within the required timescales.
