We are looking for a reliable, proactive, and hardworking Part-Time Caretaker / Groundskeeper to join our team and help maintain a large residential/commercial development in Wimbledon.

This is a varied, hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys working outdoors and takes pride in keeping a site clean, safe, and well presented. You will be responsible for maintaining external communal areas, supporting waste management, carrying out routine grounds maintenance, and assisting the maintenance team with general site upkeep.

What do I need to do to become an Part-Time Caretaker/Groundskeeper - candidate requirements

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain the cleanliness and appearance of all external communal areas.

• Sweep pathways, litter pick, and keep gardens, entrances, and open spaces tidy.

• Remove, rotate, and manage refuse and recycling bins from designated collection points.

• Keep bin stores clean, organised, and hygienic.

• Carry out routine grounds maintenance, including seasonal leaf clearance and basic gardening tasks.

• Undertake external cleaning duties, including jet washing pathways, paving, and communal areas.

• Assist the maintenance team with general repairs, site improvements, and planned maintenance projects.

• Identify and report maintenance issues, defects, or health and safety concerns to the Site Manager.

• Ensure all work is completed in line with company health and safety procedures.

• Help maintain a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for residents, visitors, and contractors.
