Handyman Repairs

We are scheduling work for the roaming handyman who can undertake carpentry, touch up painting and those sorts of jobs within the communal areas. So please upload a photo and brief description of anything that you think needs doing. You can use this web form on your phone to take a picture and describe where the problem is. We will then seek Client authorisation and book things in and update you shortly.

Insurance Claims

Please note as per the RICS Guidance Note our role is to signpost owners making insurance claims to the insurance broker Marsh at south.claims@marshcommercial.co.uk. Claims can be chased up at 0333 015 1540. As the beneficiary of a claim it is the claimant who needs to decide whom to get quotes from and to sign off the works in their property as adequate and warrant this to the insurer. We are interested in any open claims as the faster and cheaper that claims can get shut the lower the insurance premiums will be. The cost of repairs to whatever caused the claim, e.g., faulty pipework, gutter or roof is not covered by the insurer but is the cost of the owner of the pipe, or for roof, the service charge.

If you are overseas and do not have a PA, Key Holder Service, House Sitter or Letting Agent acting for you to manage and arrange your insurance claim - then Ringley do offer a managed claimed service at £180 per hour.

In the interests of getting claims shut and premiums down - if you have an outstanding insurance claim please provide details below. We will use this to reconcile against the claims that Marsh insurance say are open - to make sure that in handover claims have not got lost in the system.
