This week, we’re delighted to announce that we’ve been appointed by Rise Homes to oversee the launch and lease-up of their £15M Greyfriars build to rent development in Coventry. We will also be taking care of recruiting on-site staff, administering rent collection and taking on property management at the brand new scheme, which includes a mix of 85 fully furnished studios and one, two and three-bedroom flats plus some serviced apartments for business visitors.
With technology to the fore at Greyfriars, all the homes have high speed broadband but residents will also benefit from our own tech-led approach. As a business, we’ve invested heavily into creating new platforms that simplify and de-risk leasing and management and Greyfriars gives us a great opportunity to showcase the benefits for tenants. To speed up and simplify the lease up process, we’ll be using our own automated lettings platform PlanetRent, which puts all the key aspects of the rental journey such as marketing, compliance and tenancy renewals at residents' fingertips and can be used on any device with internet access. Renters at Greyfriars will also be able to take advantage of a residents app powered by Ringley's cloud-based platform Busy Living, this is our third project for Rise Homes. We’re also working with them at The Depot in Manchester and at the Mailbox in Stockport – both now fully let.
