Being prepared is crucial whatever the size of property:

Inform your solicitor you intend to sell. Better still – talk to Ringley’s Solicitor at Ringley Legal LLP. The Solicitor will start to put together a sale statement, Local Authority Searches, Evidence of Title and will need to contact your mortgage lender.

The law says you need to get an Energy Performance Certificate before you can put the property on the market.

Start to look out the following:

  • Equipment user manuals and any guarantees (alarms, washing machines etc…)

  • Boiler or central heating service history;

  • Guarantees for any recent roof work or timber and damp work;
