History of Rhiwbina

The earliest evidence of settlement in the area is seen near the summit of Wenallt, towards the north of Rhiwbina. Here remains an oval encampment probably dating from the Iron Age.

Pentland Close is a £10 million development close to Chiltern Close and Malvern Drive, featuring 82 apartments that are targeted for older people in Cardiff. There will be a community of apartments built over five three-storey blocks. Each block will contain between 11 to 19 apartments.
